How to customize the pop-up that appears when clicking on the badge

When a customer clicks the logo, a pop-up opens with some information about the certification and a link to the Accor website for details.

The title, description and Call to Action (CTA) are automatically translated in 17 languages.

To translate these elements go to the new ALLSAFE section located in hotel options in the CMS (check the screenshot below).

Please note that the translation must be strict with the original text.

The CMS automatically shows the fields in all site languages.

The default text is already translated into 17 languages:

  7. Brasilian
  8. Spanish
  9. Arabic

Our Web Studio has recently deployed the new ALL SAFE logo on Accor websites for the hoteliers who joined this initiative.

The logo has been placed on the bottom-left corner of the main slideshow.

When clicking on the logo, a pop-up opens with some information about the certification and a link to the Accor website for details.

According to the location of the hotel, the link opens a dedicated page, different from region to region.

If you want to obtain the ALL Safe certification, please contact your local Accor representative for more details.

NEW Pop-up for COVID-19

D-EDGE and ACCOR Teams hope you are staying safe in these challenging times.

The D-EDGE team has developed a popup for hoteliers to display dedicated details if needed.

You need to activate this popup if you want to display it.

Below we explain how to activate it:

1. Select Popups > Add New

2. Then click the Add New Button to create the pop-up.

The ACCOR Team has shared some generic text to use in this popup:

“Due to the current virus outbreak, we are sorry to communicate that our hotel is closed.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is a top priority for Accor and because changes are ongoing and unforeseeable due to COVID-19, we have implemented new cancellation/modification policies to provide our guests with increased flexibility. Please click here to refer to those specific conditions

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to you but we feel that the safety and health of our guest and personnel first.”

You are allowed to customize the above text if needed but kindly keep the link to the Accor COVID page included.
Go to All.accor.com to copy-paste the link available in the COVID-19 banner to get it in the language(s) you need.

 

NEW! Conversion Tracking for Manual Buttons

Now you can see the conversion tracking for your Call to Action buttons in Google Analytics.

The D-EDGE team has implemented a new tracking for manual buttons.
This enhancement allows tracking the conversion from Calls to Action (CTAs) that you’ve manually created.

Here’s the way it works:

– An automated script analyses the page and looks for all <a> tags (hyperlinks)

– If the hyperlinks contain “accorhotels.com” or “all.accor.com”, the link will be processed
– The script adds some parameters that allow the conversion, according to the type of link.
– You can see the results of this tracking in Google Analytics for your website

NEW Booking Widget for Tableplus

The Tableplus Asia Pacific team has developed a new widget for the Restaurant Page template in cooperation with D-EDGE developers. D-EDGE have been working with the Table Plus Asia Pacific team to update the restaurant booking links on hotel microsites.

The activation is simple! There are 2 options:

  1. Select Hotel Options > Hotel Basics > Enable Full-Height Slideshow

     

Please note that the functionality will be activated on all the pages of the website

  1. Select the specific page into the CMS and tick the dedicated checkbox
    Please note that the functionality will be activated only on the current page

In any case, remember to save before leaving the page.
